Neighborhood House is brimming with activity each summer! More than 145 school age children call Neighborhood House home during the day in the summer months. The full day summer program supports working parents and provides youth with a safe, supportive place to be while not in school at affordable prices. Breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack are included, as well as off-site field trips, and outdoor adventures.
Neighborhood House offers Summer Programs to two age groups: grades K-6 and teens 13 to 15 years-old.

Neighborhood House SOAR Program offers Service Opportunities, Adventures and Recreation to teens 13 to 15 years-old, who are self-motivated, relate well to others, and are able to work as part of a group. The students are engaged in daily community service activities, as well as recreational opportunities, and even overnight excursions.
SOAR is a 10-week program from June to August, Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4 pm.
A typical day includes breakfast, an opening activity, some type of community service, lunch, then a recreational activity. Consistent attendance is required, so please do not apply if you have other commitments during the Summer.
