Teens: SOAR
Neighborhood House SOAR Program offers Service Opportunities, Adventures and Recreation to teens 13 to 15 years-old, who are self-motivated, relate well to others, and are able to work as part of a group. The students are engaged in daily community service activities, as well as recreational opportunities, and even overnight excursions.
SOAR is a 10-week program from June to August, Monday through Friday from 8 am to 4 pm.
A typical day includes breakfast, an opening activity, some type of community service, lunch, then a recreational activity. Consistent attendance is required, so please do not apply if you have other commitments during the Summer.
