Check back in April 2025 for Summer Registration!
Neighborhood House is brimming with activity each summer! More than 145 school-age children call Neighborhood House home during the day in the summer months. Teens: SOAR
Neighborhood House SOAR Program offers Service Opportunities, Adventures, and Recreation to teens 13 to 15 years old who are self-motivated, relate well to others, and are able to work as part of a group. The students are engaged in daily community service activities, as well as recreational opportunities and even overnight excursions.
SOAR is a 10-week program from June to August, Monday through Friday, from 8 am to 4 pm.
A typical day includes breakfast, an opening activity, some type of community service, lunch, then a recreational activity. Consistent attendance is required, so please do not apply if you have other commitments during the Summer.
