SPARK: Mayor Mendenhall Unveils New Standard for Affordable, Family-Friendly Development
Neighborhood House is proud to announce the opening of our new, high-quality child care facility located within SPARK, a landmark $99 million affordable housing development on North Temple in Salt Lake City. Hailed as a "gold standard" by its developer, this project uniquely integrates 200 affordable units (including 48 deeply affordable units) with our essential, on-site early education services.
This model is a critical step in addressing Salt Lake City’s affordability crisis, providing lasting advantages to working families by merging affordable homes with our accessible, sliding-scale tuition child care. Salt Lake City Mayor Erin Mendenhall praised the development as a model for thoughtful, inclusive development that can truly change lives.
