Neighborhood House Tent Party 2025: Ignite the Spark, Embrace the Future

SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH – Neighborhood House invites friends, supporters, and new faces to our 15th Annual Tent Party, an unforgettable evening of cocktails, dinner, dancing, and community inspiration. Held on Saturday, September 13 at 6:00 p.m. on our main campus, this signature event raises essential funds to support affordable, high-quality preschool and afterschool childcare and adult day services for working families and caregivers in Salt Lake City.

This year’s theme, “Ignite the Spark, Embrace the Future,” celebrates our first-ever satellite expansion at the SPARK mixed-use development site, a powerful milestone in our rich history.

Guests will enjoy a night under the stars featuring curated campus tours, moving stories from families we serve, and reflections on the journey that brought us here. This celebration is made possible through the extraordinary generosity of our community.  We are deeply grateful to our Premier and Presenting Sponsors for fueling this mission-driven evening with their generosity. The George S. and Dolores Doré Eccles Foundation, our Premier Partner, and the Andrus Family Foundation, our Presenting Sponsor, make it possible for nearly 400 guests to come together in celebration of Neighborhood House, one of Utah’s most enduring nonprofits, now proudly serving the community for 131 years.  “For over four decades, we’ve been honored to support Neighborhood House and the incredible work they do to uplift Utah families,” said Lisa Eccles, President and COO of the George S. and Dolores Doré Eccles Foundation. “Ever since my mother served on their board, our family has held such appreciation for their mission to help families and youth build brighter futures.”

Their generosity helps ensure that families who need us most continue to receive the care, education, and support they deserve.

“There’s a special kind of joy that comes from seeing a community come together for a purpose this meaningful,” said Shelley Anderson, Tent Party Event Co-Chair and Neighborhood House Board Member. “This event reminds us that when we support one another, we all rise.”

Since 1894, Neighborhood House has championed early education and served as a lifeline of resources that empower families to achieve economic stability. Families contribute what they can afford through our sliding fee scale, and the support of friends, donors, and sponsors helps bridge the remaining gap between what parents can pay and the true cost of care. With 92% of families we serve living at or below the poverty level, every dollar raised through the Tent Party ensures children, parents, and aging adults continue to have access to the safe, affordable care they deserve.   Every dollar raised at Tent Party goes directly toward providing affordable, high-quality care for the families we serve. Together, we can create opportunities and change lives. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Individual Tickets: $150 per person.
