Child Care Toddler Teacher

Looking for a friendly, loving, and patient care giver to work with 1-2 year old toddlers.  Maintain a safe, secure developmentally appropriate classroom environment where children can experience success. Promote cognitive development, large and small motor skills, social skills and self-help skills. Set appropriate limits and interact with children, parents and staff in a positive, respectful manner. Maintain confidentiality. Follow all licensing rules and regulations and complies with NAEYC high standards of excellence. Willing to rock, cuddle, read, and explore with the children. Responsible for lesson plan development, child portfolios and assessments using TS Gold.


Positions requires a minimum of a CDA but preferred Associate or Bachelor degree, or currently enrolled in a degree seeking program in the field of Early Childhood Development, Education, or similar field. Must obtain a food handler’s permit immediately upon hire and First Aid Certification within 30 days of hire. Employment is conditional upon a clearance from the Utah State Office of Child Care through a background check. Bi-lingual in Spanish and English preferred but not mandatory
