Children’s Program Director

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Preschool/Youth  Professional with a demonstrated ability to run a large scale, successful NAEYC accredited program. The Preschool/Youth Director creates policies, manages staff and oversees daily operations. The director is the lead administrator of the Children’s daycare, preschool and youth programs and manages interactions with staff and clients. They develop the curriculum and oversee its implementation.  They are responsible to ensure the program meets complies with all safety and standards set by law. The Preschool/Youth Director will work in concert with the Board of Trustees and the Executive Director to keep Neighborhood House on the leading edge of industry trends and standards to support the mission and strategic growth plan of Neighborhood House as we launch into an exciting new phase of growth for our organization.

Food Preparation, Line Cook

Love to cook? Our kitchen cooks breakfast, lunch and afternoon snack for 300 children and adults daily. Meals are made from scratch using fresh, wholesome ingredients. Join our team of talented cooks and put your kitchen skills and passion for cooking to work.

Must have previous cooking experience, able to quickly and safely cut fresh fruits and vegetables, follow written and verbal directions in English, work in a fast paced environment, measure and portion foods, check and record temperatures, and keep a clean working environment.

This position is full time, $10/hr, 40 hours per week 7:30am-4:00pm Monday – Friday. Full benefits package available after 90 days including health, vision, dental, paid time off, paid holidays, free meals, and free/discounted childcare if needed. Program Aide

Seeking candidates for part-time employment on weekdays only – no nights, no week-ends, no holidays! Our sites are open week-days from 7:30 am – 5:30 pm, with free lunches provided daily. Position is at our Cottonwood location. Fun environment working with older adults and adults with disabilities in a family oriented, team environment. This candidate will conduct daily activities with clients, both low and high functioning. Must demonstrate strong abilities to relate to all clients in a positive manner, with good interaction and communication skills and be highly responsible and reliable. Compensation: $10-11.50 hourly.
